Welcome to MatchMyMate.in. By registering an account, listing a property/room, sending chat requests, or using our services, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following detailed terms and conditions. If you do not agree, please do not access or use the platform.

1. 100% Free and Broker-Free Platform

MatchMyMate.in is a community-first, 100% free platform. We do not charge subscription fees, listing fees, or transaction commissions. Property dealers, brokers, middlemen, or commercial real estate agents are strictly prohibited from posting listings. Any broker-agent listings reported by users will be permanently deleted and the associated account suspended.

Crucial Money Disclaimer & Policy
  • No In-App Transactions: MatchMyMate.in does NOT facilitate, process, or allow any form of financial transaction or money exchange on the website.
  • Zero Charges: We do not collect money, rent, security deposits, or tokens. Any individual claiming to represent MatchMyMate.in asking for payments is fraudulent.
  • Beware of Advance Scams: We highly advise all members NEVER to transfer money, advance deposits, booking tokens, or maintenance charges online before visiting the property in person and meeting the landlord/roommates.
  • No Responsibility: MatchMyMate.in takes zero liability for any financial losses, scams, or disagreements occurring between users offline. All negotiations and payments must be done independently and directly.
2. Platform Limits & Scope

We are solely a matching and discovery platform designed to help room seekers find compatible flatmates and shared spaces based on lifestyle habits. MatchMyMate.in does not inspect listed flats, verify rental lease contracts, or legally represent any landlord or tenant. Users must exercise their own diligence and perform background verification before finalizing roommates.

3. Verification Proofs and Profile Security

To receive a verified badge, you must record a front-camera selfie video and upload a government-issued photo ID (e.g. Masked Aadhaar, DL, Passport). We store these proofs in a secure directory accessible only to system administrators. By submitting, you grant our admins the authority to review these documents manually to confirm your identity.

4. Code of Conduct

All members are expected to communicate respectfully in mutual chat windows. Sending abusive, threatening, obscene, or harassing messages will result in immediate and permanent account termination.
